Our Products

1. Aluminium Sulphate

Aluminium Sulphate is produced by combining an aluminium source (Bauxite or Alumina Hydrate) with water and sulphuric acid. Our company employs a superior Hot process and carefully chosen raw materials to create top-quality Aluminum Sulphate. Unlike competitors who use different methods, our approach minimises insoluble matter and maintains optimal aluminium content. This results in Alum that meets or exceeds various international standards, including 1S299(2012), ANSI/AWWA B403-16, and British Standard BS EN 878:2016.

2. Our Speciality Product: Aluminium Iron (III) Sulphate (Ferric Alum)
- Liquid
- Solid
- Granular/Powder

Our Speciality Product- Ferric Alum (Alumino Ferric) is a dual coagulant, combining the advantages of Aluminum Sulphate and Iron Sulphate. It is very effective in water treatment as it forms stronger compact flocs, in comparison to other coagulants. This unique blend makes it a superior and cost-effective choice compared to other coagulants and is 20% more cost effective, while reducing dosage by 20%.
Our unique product is offered in both liquid and solid forms.
Amar Alum manufacturing process utilises only the finest available raw materials. Our Aluminum Iron (III) Sulphate is manufactured by dissolving Bauxite into sulfuric acid and water to produce a superior quality Aluminium Iron (III) Sulphate. It is one of the most versatile chemicals used in both the municipal and industrial markets. In case, lower iron concentration is required in the product, alumina hydrate may be added to achieve desired concentration for a toiler made product.

Major Parameters Mentioned Below :
S. No. Parameter Range Remark

End uses for aluminium sulphate include:

  • Potable Water Treatment
  • Wastewater treatment (clarification and phosphorus removal)
  • Lakes and ponds (removal of excess nutrients, such as phosphates that contribute to algae growth)
  • Paper mills (charge neutralisation, rosin sizing and pitch control)
  • Dye (fixing dyes to fabrics and textiles, without altering the colour of the dye)
  • Synthetic catalyst production
  • Poultry houses as a litter amendment for ammonia control.
  • Construction Industry for Manufacturing admixtures as accelerating agent.
  • Food processing
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Intermediate chemical processing
Aluminum Iron Sulfate (Alum) is most widely used in municipal drinking water and wastewater treatment systems. In potable water applications, alum functions as an excellent primary coagulant.

Through charge neutralisation and flocculation in raw water, alum removes:

  • Turbidity
  • Suspended solids
  • Total organic carbon (TOC)
  • Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD & COD)
  • NOM(Natural organic matter including colour) removal
  • Reduces formation of DBPs (Dis-infection-by-products).

Our Quality of Manufacturing:

High levels of Insoluble can lead to numerous issues, including:

  • Choking of pumps and pipelines.
  • Frequent cleaning of solution tanks.
  • Reduced efficiency in water treatment, potentially leading to ineffective results.
We strictest employ a Hot-Process method supported by a Boiler to manufacture Alum with an Insoluble Matter content of less than 0.4%.
Amar Alum manufactures solid Aluminium Sulphate in various grades as per IS299:2012 – Grade-1, Grade-2 & Grade-4.

KEY FEATURES

  • Superior Coagulation Properties: Effective over a wide pH range, enhanced efficiency at elevated temperatures, improved turbidity removal.
  • Cost Efficiency: Approximately 20% more affordable than alternatives.
  • High Purity and Reduced Consumption: Manufactured using a hot-process, insoluble matter content <0.4%.
  • Lower residual aluminium in treated water in comparison to chloride based polymeric coagulants.
  • Available in several forms such as Slabs, kibbled, lumps and powder.
  • Reduced Dosage and dosing time.
